Most of us love a sweet treat, especially children. Instead of offering them factory processed candies which are loaded with refined sugar, colourings and a lot more unhealthy ingredients you can easily make delicious and nutritious confectionery at home. These balls are a healthy snack and they make great gifts as well.  Pack them in an airtight jar with a pretty label or make/recycle the packaging, a lovely surprise for family or friends. Enjoy!

This recipe is a sample from The Complete Book of Coconut Oil, a fascinating book that tells the story of the coconut, it’s history, scientific facts and offers food recipes, DIY natural health and beauty tutorials and more.
