Recipe for Medicinal Ginger Tea
Especially effective for relieving the symptoms of colds and flu.
Ingredients
purified water
1
small piece
fresh ginger root
¼
teaspoon
turmeric
1
small pot
black pepper
honey
to taste
1
lemon
juiced
Instructions
Peel and slice the ginger root
Put water, ginger and turmeric into the pot
Bring to the boil and simmer for about 10 minutes or longer (the longer you simmer it, the stronger it gets)
Add a crack or two of black pepper to help the absorption of the turmeric
Stir and strain into a cup
Add lemon juice and honey to taste

Drink it while it’s still hot, especially if you have flu.
