The cold forces your body to increase the circulation which ramps up the immune response and eases congestion. It can also be employed for pain relief, inflammation, headaches, sore throat, sinusitis and other upper respiratory problems. You can use it before a cold sets in to head things off at the pass. As soon as you start feeling under the weather or get that first tickle in your throat, get your socks out.
