Nourishing Cream with Rose

Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon beeswax pellets
  • 15 ml Almond Oil (Sweet)
  • 15 ml Wheat Germ Oil
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • 15 ml rosewater
  • 3 drops Rose Oil

  • 3 drops Rose Oil
Instructions
  1. In a bain-marie, gently melt the beeswax, honey and oils, then add the rose water, stirring constantly.
  2. Remove the pot from the heat and continue to stir with a spatula. When the mixture has cooled, add the 3 drops of Rose essential oil and stir again to thoroughly combine the ingredients.
  3. Decant into a small clean jar with a screw lid and store in the refrigerator for a maximum of 3 months.
  4. Variations: Rose Oil can be replaced with other essential oils e.g. Geranium and Fennel, Carrot, Tea Tree, ... anything that takes your fancy! You could also replace the rose water with distilled water, mineral water, Orange blossom water or Witch hazel.
